| The Syriac-Greek Antiochian Orthodox Catholic Church was originally established in May of 1892 as the American Orthodox Catholic Archdiocese of America; this was canonized by His Holiness Ignatius Peter III, Patriarch of Antioch. It took its current name in 2008. |
