Young Men, Young Women, and Religion: How Young Adult Religiosity Differs by Gender

One topic social scientists commonly research is how religiosity differs by gender. Questions they may ask might sound like, “How religious are young adult men and women in the United States? Do young women and men have different experiences with religion, even within the same denomination or congregation?” Social scientists have asked questions like these, and this learning module will explore similar questions through national patterns of religious beliefs and practices and their variability by gender.
