The PRRI/RNS Religion News Survey was conducted by Public Religion Research Institute, in partnership with Religion News Service, to examine attitudes on breaking news and emerging issues at the intersection of religion and politics. This survey was conducted just days after Osama bin Laden's death and investigated attitudes about the morality of celebrating the death of another human being. Questions also assessed respondents' feelings toward the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden, the role America plays in human history, and the use of torture on suspected terrorists to gain important information. The ARDA has added six additional variables to the original data set to enhance the users' experience on our site.
