Jones, R. P., & Cox, D. (2021, September 30). PRRI-RNS Religion News Survey, January 2011.Summary
The PRRI/RNS Religion News Survey was conducted by Public Religion Research Institute, in partnership with Religion News Service, to examine attitudes on breaking news and emerging issues at the intersection of religion and politics. This survey was conducted before President Barack Obama's third State of the Union address and investigated public attitudes about the "moral state of the union." Questions gauged views about the moral climate in the United States, the biggest obstacles facing political leaders who want to change the tone in Washington and whether anti-government rhetoric contributed to the targeting of a member of Congress. The ARDA has added six additional variables to the original data set to enhance the users' experience on our site.
