The PRRI/RNS Religion News Survey was conducted by Public Religion Research Institute to examine attitudes on breaking news and emerging issues at the intersection of religion and politics. This survey investigated opinions about evolution and the causes of climate change. Questions assessed the degree to which respondents believe that humans evolved over time, think that a supreme being played a role in evolution, and agree that climate change was caused by human activity. The survey also examined the degree to which candidate views on these issues would affect voter preferences. The ARDA has added six additional variables to the original data set to enhance the users' experience on our site.
