Summary

The Religion and Politics Tracking Poll was conducted by Public Religion Research Institute to examine attitudes on breaking news and emerging issues at the intersection of religion and politics. This survey examined public attitudes toward immigration. Questions explored attitudes toward immigration policy, immigration reform and citizenship requirements.

The ARDA has added six additional variables to the original data set to enhance the users' experience on our site.

Collection Procedures

The survey was designed and conducted by Public Religion Research Institute. Results of the survey were based on bilingual (Spanish and English) RDD telephone interviews conducted between November 6-10, 2013 by professional interviewers under the direction of Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS).

Sampling Procedures

Interviews were conducted among a random sample of 1,005 adults, 18 years of age or older in the continental United States (405 respondents were interviewed on a cell phone).

The final sample was weighted to six different parameters -- age, sex, geographic region, race, education and telephone usage -- to ensure reliable and accurate representation of the total adult population
