Religion and Public Life Survey, 2012

The July 2012 Religion & Public Life Survey, sponsored by the Pew Research Center and the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, obtained telephone interviews with a nationally representative sample of 3,484 adults living in the United States. Interviews were conducted via landline (N=1,992) and cell phone (N=1,492; including 774 without a landline phone). The survey was conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International. The interviews were administered in English and Spanish by Princeton Data Source and Universal Survey Center from June 28 to July 10, 2012. Weights are provided to correct known demographic discrepancies.The ARDA has added six additional variables to the original data set to enhance the users' experience on our site.
