Description: Agon-shu is a form of Japanese Buddhism founded by Seiyu Kiriyama in 1978. Kiriyam serves as the groups "kancho," or leader. Although it draws from Mahayana, Theravada, and the esoteric Buddhism of Tibet, Agon-Shu believes that it has the full teachings of true and genuine Buddhism. The group's teachings are grounded in the Buddha, the dharma, and the sangha.
