Description: Chozen-Ji Kyudo was developed by Omori Roshi, a dharma successor of the Tenryu-ji lineage, and integrates Rinzai Zen training with martial and fine arts. He transmitted the Chozen-Ji lineage to the United States, with the U.S. center placing an emphasis on Kyudo (Zen archery). The group offers three ways to practice, including sesshin, weekly classes, and live-in training. Chozen-ji opened the institute of Zen Studies to spread Zen practices to the West.
