Description: The Il Bung Zen Society was founded by Zen Master Don Gilbert, also known as Ta Hui. He was initiated into the Chogye Order of Korean Zen Buddhism by Seo Kyung-b0 in 1968, and was later commissioned as his successor to the United States. He held services in California and Alabama, and authored two cartoon books on Zen.
