Description: The American Presbyterian Church was founded in 1977 after the dissolution of the Bible Presbyterian Church's Philadelphia presbytery. Three congregations took this opportunity to reorganize, forming the American Presbyterian Church. The new church retained the conservative stance of the Bible Presbyterian Church.
