Description: After two separate failed attempts to form a united Zoroastrian Association in the States, in 1986 all recorded Zoroastrian associations in the U.S. adopted the constitution of the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America. This process began in 1985 at the Fifth North American Congress. This association, officially formed in 1987, provides cohesion, cultural strength, and tax-exempt status (as of 1989) to the Zoroastrian community in the United States.
