Union American Methodist Episcopal Church - Rankings by Area (Counties) [Metro-Areas] [States]

The Union American Methodist Episcopal Church, formed in 1865 as the African Union American Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of America and Elsewhere, is one of two denominations which grew out of The Union Church of Africans, a movement within the Methodist Episcopal Church led by two African American members, Peter Spencer and William Anderson. They maintained an identity separate from what would become the African Union First Colored Methodist Protestant Church because they chose to be governed by episcopal polity.
